HD3FLAB Project

The HD3FLAB project aims to set up a synergic, effective and stable collaboration between the academic world and the business world on Industry 4.0 and in particular on enabling technologies for flexible and customised production.

It envisaged the creation of an innovative research laboratory operating in Jesi containing cutting-edge technologies in the fields of mechatronics, Industry 4.0, and Internet of things: I-labs. As part of the HD3FLAB project, the ELETICA company participated in the MERCURY research project.

Mercury aims to integrate Edge Computing with DLT and Cybersecurity techniques and represents a best practice of the synergy between the entrepreneurial and academic worlds, which come together to create critical mass and constitute a driving force for relaunching the Marche production system.

The project has identified models and technologies capable of supporting the execution of complex logic as close as possible to the data and event source, also to enable the design of solutions consisting of communities of collaborative machines and sensors.

Automation and data analysis processes were realised in the form of ‘Smart Contracts‘, i.e. decentralised blockchain-based programmes that are dynamically configurable, securely stored and executable in a distributed manner. These properties can add integrity, flexibility and scalability to factory automation processes along the entire supply chain (i.e. from design to distribution of the industrial product).

The final result of the project is industrial prototypes with a high degree of flexibility. The results were aided by the definition of MCHAIN, the first blockchain platform in the Marche region available in the HD3FLAB and intended to be a node compatible with the IBSI/EBSI (European Blockchain Service Infrastructure) initiative.

MIRACLE Project

The MIRACLE project aims to create a laboratory of excellence capable of evolving, experimenting and stimulating research and development of technologies in the fields of home automation and living environments.

Within the MIRACLE project, the ELETICA company participated in the SInCoS research project.

SInCoS is the project that envisages the realisation of intelligent systems for comfort and environmental sustainability, realised through the use of advanced sensors, IoT devices, dedicated HMIs and management control software and algorithms.

The application in domotics sector is strategic in view of the growing attention in the post-pandemic period to indoor comfort and living, as well as innovating the solutions offered that can adapt to the most varied conditions of national and international users.

The end result envisages the creation of an indoor comfort management system that can be easily reconfigured to adapt to the most varied conditions through the use of IoT technologies and algorithms.
